Remembered at 36

Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business associate producer and podcast host, has died at the age of 36. Authorities confirmed that she was found dead at her Florida home on September 19, 2026, and her death was ruled a suicide. Her passing has brought renewed attention to a life marked by both difficult public battles and a determined effort to help others.

Eckhart became widely known after filing a 2020 lawsuit against former Fox News anchor Ed Henry, accusing him of rape and sexual misconduct. Henry denied the allegations. Fox News fired Henry in 2020 following a sexual misconduct investigation. Eckhart’s lawsuit became a lengthy legal process, and her claims against Fox News were dismissed in 2025, while she reached a settlement with Henry that same year.

In the years that followed, Eckhart focused much of her energy on helping others. She founded The Reinvented Project, an organization supporting trauma survivors through animal-assisted healing, and hosted the REINVENTED podcast, where she spoke with people about difficult experiences, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Her work allowed her to move beyond the headlines and create a space for conversations about resilience and starting over.

Her death has left family, friends, colleagues, and many who followed her story mourning a life that ended far too soon. It is also a reminder that the struggles someone faces privately may not always be visible from the outside. Eckhart’s legacy will include not only the legal battle that brought her into the public eye, but also the work she later chose to do for others and the voices she helped bring forward.
