The key felt heavy in my trembling hand, as though the small piece of metal carried the weight of a truth I wasn’t ready to discover. After forty-two years of marriage, I had believed I knew everything about my husband, Robert. But after his sudden death, I found a key hidden among his personal belongings, along with an address I had never seen before. My mind filled with painful questions. Had he been living another life?
